Our Pillars
Advocacy for funding and sustainable growth.
Building a skilled workforce.
Creating community.
Advocacy is central to Media NB's mission, focusing on policy influence, long-term investments, and a robust funding ecosystem. Priorities include building strong government relationships, securing consistent funding, and establishing a Film and TV Commission to position New Brunswick as a competitive media production hub.
A skilled and adaptable workforce is vital to New Brunswick’s screen industry. This pillar focuses on partnerships with educational institutions and training organizations to address skill gaps and develop tailored programs. Initiatives like training subsidies and mentorships will ensure accessible opportunities and a steady talent pipeline.
Media NB’s vision centers on fostering belonging and collaboration. This pillar strengthens connections across the province through bilingual communications, inclusive events, and networking opportunities, promoting cross-cultural exchanges and resource sharing for professional and personal growth.
